This case started when Lestrade came to Sherlock’s flat. Sherlock knew that if Lestrade came, there was interesting thing happened. It was true. There was a weird robbing at Morse Hudson store. There was nothing gone. But the Napoleon’s head statue was broken and became pieces. It wasn’t expensive thing or special thing. Lestrade thought it was just the anger of Napoleon hater. Then Lestrade asked Sherlock and John to check about it. While asking for data, Sherlock and John heard about the same thing that happened last night. It happened at Dr. Barnicot’s house and practicum place. Dr. Barnicot was big fan of Napoleon. A few days ago, he bought 2 statues of Napoleon’s head at Morse Hudson store. When he went to his practicum place, he saw one his statue was broken in front of his practicum place. So he cameback to his house. But unfortunately, another statue was also broken. Sherlock looked very interested. He kept asking for data with John. Everything went perfectly. Suddenly a terrible news came. There was a same case but with murdering on it. It happened at Pitt St. 131 Kensington, Horrace Harker’s house a journalist. The victim was Pietro Vennuci. Horrace Harker looked very shock. He couldn’t make any sentence of this case but in fact he was journalist. Sherlock found some leads in Pietro Vennuci pocket. The leads were a photo and private things. Then Sherlock looked around to find the broken statue. He was completely curious of the motive. To make it clear, he asked the chronology to Horrace Harker. In fact, that statue was bought by him at Harding Brother store. Sherlock and John went to that store. Before that he arranged the meeting with Lestrade at 6 o’clock at Sherlock’s flat. But when arrived at that store, Mr. Harding wasn’t there. Sherlock felt disappointed. After that, Sherlock and John tried to find the supplier of these statues. Gelder & Co. was the supplier. Then they went to that place. After asking some questions to the owner, Sherlock showed the photo that he found. The owner looked very angry. In fact on that photo was Beppo, his ex-employee. He was fired because had a criminal case of robbing. Sherlock decided that he was the criminal. Sherlock asked the owner to check the list of sold item. He wanted to know who were the buyer of the statues. After knowing about that Sherlock and John went to Laburnum the location of Josiah Brown’s house. Josiah Brown was one of the buyer. Sherlock asked Lestrade to send police to that police because he was sure that Beppo must be there tonight. His prediction was right. Beppo was there. He waited until the right time. The right time came. He catched Beppo after Beppo broke the fifth statue. Then Beppo was taken the the police office. He refused to answer any question. But Sherlock already knew the motive. He called Mr. Sandeford the owner of the sixth statue. Sherlock wanted to buy his statue 10 pounds. What a fantastic price. Mr. Sandeford bought the statue with cheap price. After dealing with Mr. Sandeford, Sherlock took his gun and shot the statue. Suddenly the black pearl appeared. Everyone in the room was shocked. So, Beppo wasn’t hater of Napoleon, but he kept his black pearls in it. The criminal case that Gelder & Co. owner meant was robbing. Beppo had taken black pearls before. Because of the news that told he would get catched, he kept the pearls on it when he was making the statue.
